Spring Hockey League
CT United offers structured, skills-based practices led by top professional coaches to help your players maximize their development. It is different from any other off-season program because it is not affiliated with any winter program. At CT United, the focus is on the player, not the winter program, and it is committed to bringing out the best in each player on the ice.
Ages
CT United offers programs for all players from Mites to Midgets, birth years 2019 to 2007.
When
The first week of practice begins April 7 and ends on Friday, June 13.
Where
All practices and 3v3 days are held at Terry Conners Ice Rink at 1125 Cove Road in Stamford, CT.
Practices
Players can choose the best practice schedule for them: Monday & Wednesday, Tuesday & Thursday, all four days, and/or Fridays.
Tournaments
Each birth year will have the option to participate in the Shelton Shootout Tournament. An additional local tournament may be added depending on interest.
Jerseys
A reversible blue-to-white CT United jersey to be used at practices, scrimmages, and tournaments is included in your registration fee.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I register for just one day of practice?
Players are welcome to register for the 3v3 program without participating in the practice program.
However, due to the rise in popularity of the practice program over the past few years, we must now cap the number of players at each age group to maintain our low player-to-coach ratio and high standards of the program. We are unable to offer single-day registrations.
Do you allow drop-ins?
To manage the number of players on the ice and allow our coaches to work with players consistently, we do not offer drop-ins in either the practice program or the 3v3 program.
2025
Welcome to the 2025 season of CT United Spring Hockey! This year, we are delighted to offer four practice days, Mondays through Thursdays, and a 3v3 scrimmage day on Fridays.
The season starts on April 7 and ends on June 13.
Players can register for Monday & Wednesday practice days, Tuesday & Thursday practice days, all four practice days, and/or the 3v3 day.
